After dropping from second to third in the MX1 standings at Mallory Park, again GP winner Barragan experienced a big blow to his World Championship season as he injured on Tuesday, breaking a rib and damaging his spleen.
During a normal training session, Barragan took a double jump and crashed. The KTM Silver Action machine landed on his back causing several damages.
At the moment there is no specific information on his recovery time though this is supposed to be long enough to stop his Championship ambitions for the 2009.
