  The UFO Grand Prix of Italy was a perfect combination of MX races and wonderful weather, with sunshine for the whole day. It was actually a perfect weekend, attracting something like 26 thousand spectators to the Miravalle circuit of Montevarchi.

  Yesterday rain started right after riders ended their sessions on track but it is not the same today. It is ok in the morning but in the first race of MX1 the weather changes and the day gets quite hard. The show must go on though, and it does go on: many fans on

  The Grand Prix of Japan has been successfull for Yamaha, who collected the GP win in each class with Billy Mackenzie and Stefan Everts. Everts won both motos for this last Japanese appearance, while Mackenzie shares the wins with Antonio Cairoli.

After a first edition last year in Sweden, the Women’s World Cup started this weekend in Germany. New Zealander Katherine Prumm (Kawasaki) and French Livia Lancelot (Yamaha) shared the first positions and will arrived in Uddevalla (Sweden) for the second and last round of the series equal in the standings.  

Frenchman Christophe Pourcel won in Teutschenthal the first Grand Prix of his young career with a double win in the MX2 class, while Stefan Everts got his 91th win. New Zealander Katherine Prumm won the first round of the FIM Women’s World Cup during a successful Grand Prix of Germany, followed by a huge crowd

  Stefan Everts and Tyla Rattray both captured in Portugal their third consecutive win, and are strongly leading now their respective class. Unfortunately Sébastien Tortelli got injured during the second heat MX1, and could miss a few races with a dislocated femur.

  Winners in Flanders two weeks ago, Stefan Everts and Tyla Rattray renewed their success in Bellpuig, home of the Spanish Grand Prix.

  Former World Champion Sébastien Tortelli confirmed, in the opening round of the 2006 FIM Motocross World Championship, that he would be the main contender for Stefan Everts, who won the Grand Prix of Flanders but is tight in the points with the Frenchman.
