FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 22 June 2009 – MX Rookie, the high-profile race for amateurs held in the days preceding the Grand Prix of Belgium – the twelfth round of fifteen in the 2009 FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship – has been given a major boost.
Thanks to the intensive support of Topsport Vlaanderen, GP of Belgium organizers and the City of Lommel, participants can enter the 2009 edition of the meeting (only the second) for FREE! Aside from a 40 euro deposit to ensure inclusion (which is refundable at the event itself) the cost of running for a chance of glory in front of the factory teams and World Championship paddock is absolutely free. The number of entries is limited to 400, and registration with paid deposits must be finalized before July 10th.
Other partners of MX Rookie have ensured that every participant still receives the previously offered welcome package.
Riders can subscribe for the race through www.mxrookie.com or through the participating Belgian federations FAM or BMB. Riders who are not affiliated to one of these federations can take a day license of €35 which consists of third party liability insurance. If necessary, transponders can be rented at the rate of € 37.
In short, nothing stands in the way of turning MX Rookie into a complete and unforgettable Motocross spectacle!
